He always has the perfect call, the perfect amount of hype, knows when to hold back and turn it up. And Anik is just so goddamned good at his job. DC strikes the perfect balance IMO of fun, light-heartedness mixed with good technical analysis. There has been notable change in their skills and I just don’t see the same development from Mike but he’s still fairly young into his commentary career so I’m not writing him off yet. I don’t see the effort to improve his calling like other fighters-turned-commentators such as DC, Cruz, and Felder. Buddeh was a fighter I loved watching and always rooted for but he just doesn’t quite do it for me as a commentator. ![]() I enjoy all the commentators except Bisping most of the time.
